Longwood‘s 4 x 800-relay team of Erin Dolan, Kristin Fosdick, Jessica Bradley and Suzanne Dunbar won its heat at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia in 9:25.1, a school record that qualified the Lions for the championship today. April 29

The Longwood 4 x 800-meter relay team of Erin Dolan, Suzanne Dunbar, Kristin Fosdick and Jessica Bradley finished fifth in the championships at the Penn Relays yesterday at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. The Longwood team’s time of 9:26.02 was the fourth fastest time recorded in the U.S. this year. Several of the teams competing at the relays were from the Caribbean. April 30

Erin Dolan finished first in the 1,500 in 4:49.1 as Longwood beat Sachem, 82-59, to earn its fifth straight League I girls track championship. Sachem’s Nicole Vickers won the triple jump (35-11 1/2), the 200 (26.2) and the long jump (16-5 1/2), while teammate Shannon Weeks won the 400 hurdles (63.8), the 400 (58.5) and the 800 (2:18) .
