Brentwood 4, Longwood 3: Mariah Armond broke past three defenders at the top of the box and touched the ball past the goalie midway through the second half to put Brentwood ahead 4-2 in League I. Kim D’Angelo scored her first of two goals off an assist from Rachel Blum in the ninth minute to give Lindenhurst a 1-0 lead in Suffolk League I. Blum scored on a penalty kick to make it 3-0. Ward Melville 3, Longwood 1: Chelsea DeVerna scored on a 25-yard shot into the upper left corner in the second minute of the first overtime for Ward Melville (5-0-1). With four minutes left in regulation, Maggie DeVerna tied it at 1 for Ward Melville. Oct. 5

Crystal Osborne beat the goalie to the upper right corner to give Brentwood a 3-1 lead with 15 minutes left in League I. Jordyn Holt scored with 10:30 left to cut the lead to 3-2 for Longwood (0-8). Ashley Martinez made 12 saves, including one on a first-half penalty kick for Brentwood (2-5). Oct. 10
