Defending Suffolk champion East Islip returns its entire team from last season. Senior Pat Cooley (210) and juniors Chris Anderson (217) and Mark Marra (214) lead the young Redmen.
“We’re going to be going for years,” said coach Rick Papandrea. “We switched leagues for the third straight year. We’re definitely the favorites to win this year.”
Top contenders will be Commack, with Adam Sher (231); Middle Country, with Jack Castellano (220); Bay Shore, led by Nicholas Achillo (212), and Comsewogue, with James Pastor (215). Individuals to watch are West Babylon’s Gary Haines (224) and Longwood‘s Kevin Kearney (215). Dec. 17
