In the Suffolk Conference I tournament, top seed Julie Rosenstein of Northport defeated Lorraine Morrissey of Brentwood, 6-1, 6-1, in the second round at Smithtown East. In doubles, top-seeded Maya and Kaya Wielopolski of Longwood advanced, as did second-seeded Beth Goldfarb and Lynnie Gallagher from Ward Melville. Oct. 22
