In girls bowling, Doreen Volpe had a match-high 533 series, including a 197, as Longwood defeated Bellport. Cindy Zagorski bowled a team-high 526 series, including games of 194 and 190, for Bellport. Longwood is 4-1 in match play Jan. 3

Peggy Schimmel rolled a 517 series to lead Northport past Bellport . . . Janine Bona rolled a 204 high game and a 545 high series to lead Patchogue-Medford over Longwood. Jan. 11

In girls bowling, Marisa Lamm rolled games of 216, 203, 202 and had a 621 series, and Jessie Rosand had a high game of 246 to lead East Islip past Northport. GeriElen Bodenburg rolled games of 210 and 214 for a 567 series for East Islip. Peggy Schimmel had a 200 for Northport . . . Jaclyn Maczurco rolled a 237 and 546 series to lead Middle Country over Longwood . . . Janine Bona bowled a 202 high game and a 541 high series to lead Patchogue-Medford over Port Jefferson. Jan. 17

In Suffolk girls bowling, Kelly Lake shot a 269 in the third game as Sachem compiled a total aggregate score of 1,127 in its victory over Bellport. The 1,127 is a county record, according to Sachem coach Steve Tuttle, who has kept statistics as the county chairman for the last six years . . . Jen Renda rolled a 503 high series to lead Longwood past Ward Melville. Jan. 18

In girls bowling, Peggy Schimmel bowled a 510 series to help Northport defeat Longwood . . . Jaclyn Mazzurco rolled a 213 in a 552 series to lead Middle Country to a victory over Bellport. Jan. 31

Marissa Valenti rolled a 557 series with a 210 high game as East Islip (16-0) captured the League I title with a victory over Longwood in girls bowling. Allison Werner bowled a 210 in the third game.

Eighth-grader Pierette Begent bowled a 263 in the first game to help Bellport defeat Patchogue-Medford . . . Cheryl Bestenheider bowled a 207 in the second game and a 572 series and Kelly Lake had a 201 in and a 571 series as Sachem beat Port Jefferson. Jody Fisher had a 576 series for Sachem.

In girls bowling, Marisa Lamm (East Islip) won the ‘A’ singles division with a two-game total of 468, including a 253, then teamed with Rachel Buckheit, also of East Islip, to win the ‘A’ doubles division with a team total pinfall of 794 at the Singles-Doubles Tournament at East Islip Bowl. Jen Rios (Longwood) took the ‘C’ division with games of 212 and 209. Feb. 8
