Alison O’Brien picked up a loose ball and scored from 20 yards on a high line-drive with 2:16 left in the game as Bay Shore rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat Longwood, 3-2, yesterday in a League III-IV crossover girls soccer game.
Trailing 2-0 at halftime, Bay Shore got a goal from Kim Shaw with 15 minutes left, then tied the score on Christine Doxey’s goal with five minutes left. Laura Alessi and Kim Raupp gave Longwood the early lead. Jackie Pasquerella made 13 saves for the Marauders to earn the win.

Kim Raupp scored her third goal off a rebound with 13:30 remaining as Longwood (4-2) took a 3-1 lead and held on to beat previously unbeaten Connetquot, 3-2, yesterday in a League III-IV crossover girls soccer game. Connetquot (6-1) cut the deficit to 3-2 on a goal by Laura Manzi with 2:50 left, but Longwood keeper Anne McKinney (12 saves) made a diving stop on a 25-yard direct kick by Erin McNamara with less than a minute to play to preserve the victory. Longwood is 4-2.
In League IV, Leah Patriss scored on a diving header with 11 minutes left in the first half off a pass from Lindsay Tutone to give Longwood a 2-1 lead in its 3-1 win over West Babylon.
