Longwood scored three unanswered goals in the third quarter to take a 7-3 lead in its 10-5 win over Connetquot. Jason Whiffen had two goals and two assists for Longwood . . . Sachem rallied from a 5-1 halftime deficit to beat West Islip, 8-5. Vinnie Hannigan scored all three of his goals in the second half, including the tie-breaking goal 3:57 into the fourth quarter.
