Girls Track

Valerie Bertrand of Newfield set a record in the 600-meter run in yesterday’s Conference II track meet with a time of 1 minute, 35.6 seconds, breaking her own Conference II record of 1:36.9 set in last year’s meet. Shoreham-Wading River easily won the team title with 68 points. Roquelle Gilmore of Central Islip won the 55-meter dash and the 300 run.
